UK HardcoreI discovered the UK Hardcore happy sound in early 1997 but wasnt old enough to go ravin at that time. I waited till november 1997 then i went to my first proper event. The date was 21st november 1997, the event was Slammin Vinyl, the venue was bagleys!
I walked into the hardcore room not really knowing what to expect. Jimmy J was playing alongside MC Storm. The first track i danced to was "Show me the way" by Jimmy J. I didn't even know how to dance but when i saw the people around me on the same high as I was I just flows with the music it just felt right, everything felt like it meant something and from that date i dedicated myself to hardcore raving every weekend for a fair few years.
I have met allsorts of people throughout my journey and travelled to various different countries to witness some true hardcore parties.
The image above is a magazine article taken from Loaded Magazine. The actual event took place in February 2002 in an event called "Adrenalin" @ a venue called "Enzos" @ Salisbury. The picture of me is in the top right hand corner of the page with the yellow waistcoat on.
